A Note from Melanie-Pearl:

I haven't had much time to list on ETSY lately.  I've been busy getting ready for the fall fairs.  Please plan on coming to see me at the Hillsboro Arts and Crafts fair on Saturday the 20th, the third weekend in September, 2008.  Or come out to the Market Square show at Central Christian Church in Wichita, Ks on Saturday, October 18, 2008.

You'll probably be Christmas shopping by then, so remember, the shows are the cheapest way to buy from me---no shipping charges and bulk buy special deals.  Mix 'N' Match my bracelets and pendants:  3 for $20.00.

Make your list and come hang out with me on either day!

I might even host an open house some time between Thanksgiving and Christmas...stay tuned for updates.  If you see something you like, but you can't make it to my shows, email me and I'll do my best.  Fair warning (haha)...if it's during fair season it might take awhile.  Otherwise I've set aside time to work on custom orders after October 18, 2008.  Place your order anytime by emailing me at pearlprice.com@hotmail.com with the word "Order" in the subject line.  Thanks!

ps)  I'll be at Abode Home Furnishings on August 28th for the Final Fridays gallery crawl where they will auction off my painting "Carry You".  The auction benefits the 5-4-7 Arts Center in Greensburg, KS.  Come on out and support a great cause.       Here is the painting:

Pearl Price Vintage Visions, started with a vivid, amazing dream in which an angel on a beautiful hillside handed me a stone tablet with the French word "Cadeaux" etched into it.  Later, when I found out that that word meant "Gift", I began to pray about discovering the gifts God has given me.  I asked God to bless the work of my hands.  Soon I began to paint again.  Eventually I began to paint on leather.  The rest, is becoming history.

The first year I sold my bracelets I was able to give most of the proceeds to my missionary friends who travel between Iraq, Afghanistan and the Sudan.

The second year, I took my bracelets to China and gave them to some of the most beautiful people in the world.

This year I'd like to give a portion of the proceeds to my friends Kristi and Daniel who personally care for, feed and clothe the poor people of Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
